Cherry Grove
Cherry Grove Beach, also referred to as Cherry Grove, is on the upper east side of North Myrtle Beach. Cherry Grove is known for its pier which was built in the 1950's. The Cherry Grove Pier has survived many hurricanes, and was remodeled and lengthened in 1999 after Hurricane Floyd. In 1968 Cherry Grove Beach merged with Windy Hill Beach, Ocean Drive Beach, and Crescent Beach to form the city of North Myrtle Beach.
